Description
Unable to authenticate DR Administrator (or local) accounts when connecting to a CIFS or NFS shared container.
When connecting to a share using the DR local administrator account, authentication may fail with the error "The user name or password is incorrect.", even though the correct user name and password is been used.
If QoreStor has joined a domain, a domain level account will be able to access the share through UNC.

Cause
The /etc/hostnames file may not be updated with the current QoreStor IP, FQDN or hostname. -
Resolution
Update /etc/hostnames with the current QoreStor IP, FQDN or hostname.For example.From:127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6To:127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost610.9.116.47 contoso.quest.com contosoAfter updating the /etc/hostnames, restart ocards and network services, then try again and remember to add the user as domain\administrator or (ip_addr)\administrator.
