- Login to supportlink https://support.quest.com/SUPPORT/index?page=home
- Search for Performance Analysis for SQL Server
- Dowload Setup_PASS_65.exe to upgrade the Performance Analysis Client. Run the Setup_PASS_65.exe and follow the wizard to upgrade the client application
- Download the D_PASS_Agent_65424_Windows_xxx.exe, the D_PASS_Agent_65424_Windows_xxx.exe needs to be installed on both the Monitored Host and the Middleware Host, if you have a two-tier architecture. You need to run the installer on the Middleware Host and upgrade this server first. Once successful, run the installer on the monitored host and perform the upgrade.

Additional Information
Prior to upgrading, it is good practice to back up the \data directory on the middleware host e.g. <installation_directory -->\agents\SC_MSSQL\6.0\<HOST-SID>\quest_sc_mw\data>. Please ensure to stop the service 'QAM Launcher 3566' prior to backing up. Once finished, please restart the service 'QAM Launcher 3566'
