Migrating a Power BI Connection fails with error 'Migrating connection fails with error: Failed to create Gateway Connection -  The credentials provided for the source are invalid'

Logs may also show error 'Failed to add user 'username@onmicrosoft.com' to the gateway connection'

The connection profile assigned to the connection in ODMPBI was using different credentials to the credentials used to create the connection on the source tenant.

Use the same credentials in the connection profile as the account that created the connection in the source tenant. The credentials must be an active account that can authenticate for access to the data.
Verify that the Connection in the source environment is in an online state without errors in the Power BI Portal.

Allowed authentication types for connections are Basic and Windows.
