Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) Subscription Expiry Process (4377372)

Customers may have questions about what occurs when their On Demand subscription is approaching expiry or has already expired. This article clarifies the steps taken before and after the subscription expiry.

The subscription expiry process in Quest On Demand follows a structured notification and service access policy. If a subscription is not renewed, it will eventually expire, affecting the availability of services.

The subscription expiry process is divided into two key stages:

1. Stage 1: Subscription Expiry Notification (X days remaining):
   • When: Thirty days before the subscription expires.
   • What Happens: The On Demand organization administrator will receive an email notification informing them of the upcoming expiration. The number of days remaining before expiry will also be displayed on the On Demand home page, allowing ample time for the administrator to take action.
2. Stage 2: Subscription Expired (Access Denied):
   • When: Once the subscription has expired.
   • What Happens: Members of the organization will no longer have access to the On Demand module. However, all configuration settings will remain preserved. Additionally, module services will continue to run for the next 30 days to allow for any final adjustments or renewals to be made.
