ReACL is failing with error: "unable to update hive file error. configuration registry database is corrupt"

When performing machine ReaACL, it failing with error: "unable to update hive file error. configuration registry database is corrupt. 0x80004005"
Log is pointing to c:\users\temp\ folders and temp registry.

User profile is temporary and cannot be ReACL'ed

The C:\Users\Temp directory is not a valid user profile and cannot be processed by ReACL.

Temporary User Profile:

A temporary profile is created when an issue prevents the user’s actual profile from loading. Temporary profiles are removed at the end of each session, and any changes made to settings or files are lost when the user signs out.

If a user signs in and receives the message “We can’t sign into your account” along with the notification “You have been signed in with a temporary profile,” it means the system has logged them in using a temporary profile such as C:\Users\TEMP instead of their profile located in C:\Users<user-name>. Any changes made while using this temporary profile will be lost after signing out.
