Description
Using On Demand Migration (ODM) to migrate the root SharePoint site to a new site collection using a mapping file.

Resolution
ODM supports migrating a source Root site to a target site collection.
Note: The target new and blank site collection will need to be created manually.
Using the Map from File functionality within the ODM SharePoint migration project to map the Root site / to the new site collection /SiteCollection1.

Additional Information
If the source root site was previously mapped to the target root site, it need to be deleted from ODM and rediscovered, prior to mapping.
