Address Rewrite Service is not rewriting, UPN and primary SMTP address do not match
Description

The On Demand Migration (ODM) Domain Coexistence Address Rewriting Service is deployed and enabled, users are enabled for Address Rewriting, but their SMTP address is not being rewritten.
Cause

The users' User Principal Name (UPN) and primary SMTP address do not match.
Resolution

Currently, the ODM Address Rewrite service is designed to support environments where the end-user UPNs and primary SMTP addresses match.
An Enhancement Request, 273366, has been created by the product team to consider supporting scenarios in which the end-user UPNs and primary SMTP addresses do not match in a future version of ODM.
