Description
ODM DirSync trying to get password sync going. After working through other issues, we're finding btpaexec won't connect to the DC; however psexec (downloaded) works.
We find this error: “Received too little data” and “the pipe has been ended”

Cause
McAfee is preventing our product from connecting to the DC -
Resolution
Per our documentation: Third-party anti-virus or threat prevention programs may block the execution of password tasks. These programs may need to be uninstalled from both the Domain Controller and the Directory Sync Agent Server or otherwise carefully whitelisted to allow proper operation. -
