We have a site that continues to have issues with creating users. We have removed the users in the past from the target domain and after sometime the errors comes back.
"Write: Unable to create <NAME>, object already exists"
These errors are stating the user objects exist in the target. Please verify via PowerShell using the SAMAccountName.
The object was not read into Dirsync because the object exists in an OU or CN which is not in scope for the Read step.
The target object is in scope for the Read, but does not meet the matching criteria defined in the workflow Match step Attribute match mapping.
Resolve the duplicates and allow workflows to sync the changes.
If there are no duplicates, then ensure the target environment has the Default Target OU defined as in scope in the 'Organizational Units' tab within the ODM AD Environments section for the Target domain.
Confirm the Environment | Organizational Unit tab lists all OUs which must be in scope for this workflow. Confirm the Stage step Default OU is listed in the OU section.
Review the Match criteria and review the source and target object attributes to ensure there is a value which will match the source and target objects.
Contact Product Support if you are unable to resolve this issue.
