Application Information -
Symptoms: The library the drive is in may be visible, but the drive is not. -
Resolution
Login to the filer as root with a putty or ssh session.
Run:
sysconfig -t
If the you see the drive and it has this comment
" (non-qualified tape drive) "
then it is because the OnTap OS on the filer doesn't support that drive. OnTap may need to be updated or patch to be able to communicate with that drive. -
