Description:
NetVault is reporting that the total capacity of virtual media is exceeding what is actually configured.
Symptoms:
* Error messages such as "Exceeding license for total virtual media capacity (have 195Gb licensed for 100Gb)"
* NetVault report "Server License - Capabilities and Usage" shows "Total capacity for virtual devices" with a value greater than it should be.

Cause
When an old Virtual Library is removed from NetVault's configuration and a new one created, the associated Virtual Media are not removed from the NetVault Database (NVDB). This is the intended behavior of NetVault in these circumstances, and is consistent with the operation of a real hardware library. -
Resolution
* Before the old Virtual Library is removed 'Data Copy' all the savesets to another location if this data is still needed, then 'BLANK' all of the Virtual Media.
* After the old Virtual Library has been removed, either manually 'Remove' the media in the Media Management screen, or write a script to use the 'nvremovemedia' utility. The scripted solution would be much easier if the barcode of the media was used as the label. -
