Description: We can not add the Client to the NetVault Server.
There is no Firewall up. We Can Ping by name and IP address, nslookup and Telnet Both Ways among the NetVault Server and the NetVault Client on the port 20031. We can also find the NetVault Client when trying to find a machine to be domain managed (We would not be able to domain manage it because it is not a NetVault Server).
Symptoms: When in Client Management and trying to add the Client in "Find Machine on the NetVault Server", then it will first show a clock icon, and nothing happens after that. The Client does not go to either Client list or the Available NetVault Machines List.
1)- Stop the services in the NetVault Server Machine
2)- Rename the file clientgroups.bin inside the DB Directory in the NetVault Server Machine.
3)- Start the services in the NetVault Server Machine
4)- Now you will be able to add the Client to the NetVault Server.
