VaultDR (Bare metal recovery) restore of virtual server fails with
ERROR: Failed to clone disk to remote ESX server. Error: An error occurred while writing a file; the disk is full. Data has not been saved. Free some space and try again

As the message describes this is due to there not being enough space on the ESX datastore where Netvault is attempting to restore the VM image.
It may be that some free space remains but that it's not sufficient.
The solution is to free up space on this datastore or to move the VM to another datastore in Vcenter where there is more space available. (Unlike doing a restore with the VM plugin the image must already exist on the datastore for the BMR restore to work in the same way as physical machine would have to exist!).
