Job running in waiting for media state - Job Diagnose lists no media request (4046727)

Description: Possible resolution for job in waiting for media with no media request on diagnose.


Symptoms:
A job enters a "waiting for media" state, diagnose media results in "no media request" and job never proceeds.

1. Abort the job
2. Run the Media Quotas and Usage report and check for account name (users) that have consumed their media quota (this would be the user running the job).
3. Either :
- assign a larger Media quota to the affected user (via the Access control GUI, user privileges tab)
- or remove (via the media manager GUI) an old saveset generated by that user to free up space in the existing quota
4. re-run the job.

Explanation:

While there can be other reasons for this error state, there appears to be an issue with the handling of Netvault Media Quotas in 7.4.5. When a user has used up their entire Media quota and launches a new job, the job enters a "waiting for media" state and never proceeds.

Fault report NVG-3562 has been raised for this issue.
