Trying to browse an Exchange plugin and get the following error - Failed to log into domain with error (87): 'The parameter is incorrect. '
Checking trace shows the powershell script being run for an exchange server called 'null'... 'powershell.exe -PSConsoleFile "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\bin\exshell.psc1" -command ". {Get-ExchangeServer (null) | fl edition,admindisplayversion}" > 926590265900000000013284 2> 926590265900000000023284'
The actual issue is reported in the trace...

Cause
DNS name lookup is failing and the exchange server name is not being detected as a result.

Resolution
Check the DNS entries as name lookup is failing.
Lookup should work for the hostname, the fully qualified domain name and the IP address, in forward and reverse lookup.
