"Requesting machine is too old" error message during a backup to Smart Disk (SD).
The NetVault Server was on 8.5.3 and SD 1.2.2 was installed on a seperate machine.
The NetVault Client was on a 8.0 version.
During the backup process the NetVault Client opens a communication channel to the backup device (SD) in order to backup the data.
SD 1.2.2 is not compatible with NVBU 8.0, so NVBU displays the above error.
This is also confirmed when a successful test backup was performed from the NetVault Server itself with version 8.5.3 to SD 1.2.2.
Upgrade a NetVault Client to the same version as the NetVault Server i.e. 8.5.3 and then performed a successful backup to SD.
