How to add Entry/Exit Ports to an existing Virtual Tape Library (VTL)
Description

Entry/Exit ports can be added to an existing Virtual Tape Library (VTL) without recreating it.
Resolution

1. Stop the NetVault Process Manager service
2. Go the the folder where the VTL is located and create a new folder named "ports"
3. Inside the ports folder, create as many Entry/Exit ports required by adding subdirectories numbered from 1 up to the maximum number of ports wanted.
4. Restart the NetVault Process Manager service.
5. When browsing Device Management on NetVault WebUI, the Entry/Exit ports will be there (it might take some time until the library recognize the recently created Entry/Exit port). Tapes now can be exported.
