RMAN APM v3.6 (and/or newer) has changed the way to handle backup piece, with the result that backup data obtained with plugin v3.1 (and/or older) can't be restored using v3.6 (and/or newer)
The old version of RMAN APM that backup was taken with has to be installed.
1. Uninstall the existing APM and install the RMAN APM that old backup was taken with.
2. Run restore.
3. Upgrade latest version of RMAN APM and backup the data (with step 2) so that it can be restored using the latest version of the plugin.
