Description:
RMAN backup hangs with status "Running: RMAN post backup script".


Symptoms:
Running RMAN backup with a Post-Backup Script that contains "shutdown" AND "startup" commands (regardless of the db mode - NOMOUNT/MOUNT/OPEN) results in "Running: RMAN post backup script". The Post-Backup script process completes successfully, but the job's Run Status remains as "Running: RMAN post backup script".

Do not include "shutdown" and "startup" commands in RMAN APM Post-Backup Scripts.
