Description:
This document describes the situation you will see when you attempt to use XCOPY in a prescript or postscript. It also offers a workaround to this problem.


Symptoms:
A prescript containing an XCOPY command with the correct syntax appears to not run. It doesn't fail - it just doesn't run.

For unknown reasons the XCOPY command does not work in prescripts and postscripts. The answer is to use COPY instead. This command is not quite as flexible but is the only solution as yet.
