When trying to login through the web interface, it complains that the login failed, no matter from which browser (IE, Firefox or Opera); While the same exact details will work on the CCLI.
This issue can be the result of missing/corrupt /etc/shadow file, to confrm this, check the /var/log/http/ directory on the NVFR server, and see the latest error logs, it would complain that the /etc/shadow file is not available.
The fastest way to regenerate the /etc/shadow file would be to run the command
pwconv
from command line.
There is no restarting needed and as soon as the file is regenerated, the website login should work properly straight away.
