How to use pefmon to collect Windows system data and how to view the log (4045109)

How to use pefmon to collect system data and how to view the log.

1/ go to CMD prompt and type “perfmon".
2/Open counters logs folder
3/ Right click system overview, select start. when you want to start logging the system resources.
4/ When you want to stop logging , right click system overview again and select stop.
5/ The log file will be written to "C:\PerfLogs"
6/ to display the log click the system monitor tab this will bring up the main monitor window showing what your system is doing.
7/Select the disk shaped icon “ view log data".
8/ In the popup select “log Files" , then add
9/this bring up a browser, select the file to be viewed.
