Need to Restore from Failed Backup (4042680)

Description: Backup had completed but then received channel error and failed before it had a chance to put the index on tape. Later the tape was removed form the Database and when trying to scan, it shows nothing

If a tape fails to put the index on tape but does successfully record it in the Database it should be able to restore from the tape. However once the tape is removed from the DB it would need the index at the end of the tape in order to recover. It is possible one could do a CPIO commands to read the tape, but that is beyond the scope of what BakBone Support can help you with.
