Exchange transaction logs were not being deleted after a full backup using the Exchange Plugin.
First, make sure that Circular logging is disabled. Instructions can be found in the prerequisites section of Exchange Plugin Users Guide at

If circular logging is disabled, then make sure that any additional Mailbox DBs that has been added to Exchange, has also been included and saved in the Selection Set and saved in that the Exchange backup. Otherwise the Transaction logs will not be deleted after a full backup.
You can modify the Exchange backup by performing the following steps:
1. Right clicking the Job and select "Edit / View Job".
2. Select the "Modify" box at the bottom of the Selection Set tab.
3. Click on the "Modify" button.
4. Drill down the selected items of that Selection Set and tick the extra Mailbox DB.
5. Click on the "Save as" button at the bottom and select the same Selection Set used for this backup and click on OK.
6. A pop-up message will appear that you are going to over write this Selection Set, so click on OK to accept this.
7. Then click on the Save icon at the top, so that the Exchange backup includes the new Selection Set. A pop-up message will appear the job will be over written. Click on OK to accept.
Once the job has been amended, run the Exchange backup again.
