For example, if the NetVault Server is running version 9.1.1, all versions of NetVault Client prior to 9.1.1 can be protected by the server. If the NetVault Server is running version 9.0.1, all versions prior to 9.0.1 of NetVault Client prior to 9.0.1 can be protected by the server, but version 9.1.1 of the NetVault Client cannot be used.
【Important】
The features available in the NetVault Client depend on the version of that client. For example, if NetVault Server is 9.1.1 and Client is 9.0.1, only features up to NetVault Client Version 9.0.1 are supported by the client. Also, depending on the configuration, the NetVault Client might need to run the same version as the NetVault Server, so please check the release notes as well.
