Unable to browse Virtual Client when it is created on Linux NetVault Server version 12.1 -
Description
After creating a 2-node Linux File System Virtual Client on Linux NetVault server 12.1, browsing the virtual client returns:
“Error: Failed to get connection to plugin”

Cause

Resolution
1/ Go to Manage Clients, select the Linux Virtual Client, select Manage, take a screenshot of current configuration.
2/ Remove Virtual Client
3/ Copy the Linux NetVault 12.1 client FileSystem plugin from a Linux client's …/netvault/packages/standard directory: file “nvf-12-1-0-7-LinuxX86Pure64.npk” to netvault server …/netvault/packages/standard directory.
Note if the server File System plugin has the exact same name as the client File System plugin rename the server's File System plugin first before copying over the client File System plugin as follows
“nvserver-nvf-12-1-0-7-LinuxX86Pure64.npk”
4/ Create a new Virtual Client using the client File System plugin and the details collected in step 1
5/ Browse the Virtual Client File System plugin and run test backup.
