The log shows two log messages from the wrong client:
Could not retrieve file list for VM VM [VMNAME]:
Preparing working folder for backup
Looking at the client column of the log message it will show a different client than the VM is hosted on.
In the Network Manager settings for the clients the Comma separated list of fallback address(es) field has the cluster IP address configured in it.
The machines.dat file on the NetVault Backup server has the cluster address listed in the network of all 3 nodes in the cluster.
Misconfiguration of the client fallback address.
Go to Change Settings | Client Settings | Select the first node in the cluster | Network Manager
Remove anything configured in the “Comma separated list of fallback address(es)” field.
Restart the NetVault Process Manager service on the client.
Repeat for each node in the Hyper-V cluster
