After upgrade to NVBU 11.4 with Plug-in for NDMP 11.4, scheduled jobs that worked previously, now all fail with:
"Failed to get authorization error: NDMP_ILLEGAL_ARGS_ERR"
"Job manager lost message channel unexpectedly"
Downgrading Plug-in for NDMP to the previous version 10.0.5, allows for the same jobs to complete successfully.
Note that this issue does not occur with all NAS vendors, it has been reported for:
- EMC VNX5300 filer version 7.1.80-7
- Isilon Filer (Isilon OneFS v6.5.5.12)
While the fix for the issue will be in the next release of Plug-in for NDMP, in the meantime to workaround this issue please:
