Prerequisites for using Plug-in Live Client for Linux to perform multipath backups -
Description
Usually it can be referred to Plug-in Live Client for Linux NetVault™ Bare Metal Recovery User Guide for prerequisites for multipath backups, but this KB will provide additional information required from Storix® System Backup Administrators Guide.
This is especially useful when you get these errors when performing backups on multipath devices.
NOTE: Device-Mapper Multipath devices have been found on this system butlinks to these devices could not be found in the /dev/mpathdirectory. Refer to the SBAdmin Device-Mapper Multipath DevicesGuide for information regarding support for these devices.ERROR: The / filesystem has not been included in the backup. A systembackup cannot be performed without this filesystem.
