When creating a backup job for a linux client that was successfully added to a NetVault Backup server you get this error "Unable to get actions for node...
In addition when in Manage Clients - select the linux machine and click check access - you get this "Error: Provider 'NVBUPhysicalClient' failed".
Workaround:
1) You will need to configure IP tables on the linux client to accept inbound and outbound connections on a set range of ports. A good rule of thumb is 20031 thru 20131.
2) You will need to use the NetVault configurator to add these ports to the NetVault Firewall configuration on both the client and the server.
3) Under Manage Clients you will need to select the check box Client is outside firewall.
