- On the DR4100 create a new RDA container or use an existing RDA container.
- Make note of the NFS access path. The path will be used in the export directory field in NVBU.
- Set the remaining NFS options.
- From a Linux machine, mount the NFS container.
- Add a DR Series System to the NetVault Backup Server
1) Start the configuration wizard.
• In the Navigation pane, click Guided Configuration, and then on the NetVault Configuration Wizard page, click Add Storage Devices.
• Alternatively, in the Navigation pane, click Manage Devices, and then click Add Device.
2) Select the RDA Device option, and click Next.
3) On the Add RDA Storage page, provide the following details.
4) Click Next to add the device.
5) After the device is successfully added and initialized, a message is displayed.
Note: If the server is unable to resolve the host name, it fails to add the device.
Username - Specify a user account that can be used to log on to the device.
On the DR Series system, only one user account exists, and the user ID
for that account is “backup_user”. You can only change the password for
this account; you cannot create a new account or delete the existing
account. Password Type the password for the user account.
