After upgrading NetVault Server 8.6.3 to 9.0.1, the “Output to file” option under any of the report Options tab was missing.
The Canned Reports had corrupted during the upgrade somehow?
Please perform the following steps to resolve the issue:
1] Perform a NVDB backup.
2] Remove and re-add canned reports as per the KBA:

3] Reboot the NetVault Server.
Note: If you make any changes to any of the reports, please make sure you enter a different report title.
The reason being that the canned reports are overwritten during the NVBU upgrade process.
