Removing and readding a VMware Server issue -
Description
If a VC server is removed and re-added to NetVault,with the same name but a different hostname (or IP address), the plug-in does not allow to open the server node without first terminating the nvvmware.exe process from the Windows Task Manager. -
Cause
This is a product defect. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Terminate the nvvmware.exe process from the Windows Task Manager.
STATUS:
Enhancement request number 2338 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of NetVault Backup
