How to configure Mixed Media through the GUI -
Description
Tape Libraries can have a variety of drives and media. However, not all drives may be compatible with all tapes.
For example, an LTO4 Media cannot be read by a LTO7 Drive. This combination may cause the tape to be marked as BAD and/or the drive going Offline.
A simple solution to this would be to partition the library, but for a variety of reasons this may not always be an option. It is in these cases where we can configure Mixed Media through NetVault in order to ensure different types of media will always be loaded on a compatible drive.
