When using the following command we see smartdisk balancing set to "Activity."
smartdisk config --show
Cause:
The "Activity" option does not seem to be working as expected.
cd to the smartdisk/foundation/bin and Set the smartdisk balancing option to shared using the following commands:
smartdisk config --update --volume <path> --balancing space
Windows example:
smartdisk config --update --volume "C:\ NetVault SmartDisk\store" --Balancing space
Configuration applied
smartdisk config --update --volume "C:\ NetVault SmartDisk\diskmanager\stage" --Balancing space
Configuration applied
Unix example:
smartdisk config --update --volume /mnt/smartdisk/store --Balancing space
smartdisk config --update --volume /mnt/smartdisk/stage --Balancing space
Note: this will need to be done on all volumes and both staging and stored locations, so check that the option has been changed on all volume after making changes.
