How to confirm if Smartdisk is licensed for Deduplication (4035447)

SmartDisk deduplicaiton has license enabled. Here is how to confirm if a running SmartDisk installation is licensed for deduplication.

There are two commands that can be performed that will show if deduplication is licensed or not. Perform these two commands.  If the output for the relevent stanza is as below, then deduplication is not licensed on this SmartDisk installation.

[SD home]\foundation\bin>smartdisk license --show
....
Dedupe Enabled:    No
....

And

[SD home]\foundation\bin>smartdisk stats
....
Deduplication Enabled = FALSE
....
