Description
Error: Unable to register device <DeviceName> on <Domain>. Your credentials could not be authenticated: "Credentials are missing.". You will not be permitted access until your credentials can be verified. -
Cause
This is typically caused by an incorrect username and/or password, but could also be caused by network connectivity problems. -
Resolution
Suggestions to verify the connectivity:
1. Check if the device goes through a proxy, run the command 'netsh winhttp show proxy'
2. Capture Network Trace for an-end-to-end tracing to follow each transaction request from device(s) to the BT server.
3. Enable IIS logs on the BT server. These logs are meant to record access to the server, we can identify which device’s IPs could reached / accessed the BT server.
