Installation Issues-"The Wizard was interrupted before Directory Sync Pro and Migrator Pro could be completely installed" -
Description
Unable to install the latest version AD/DS Pro. I have installed the VC++, as well as installed all of the latest patches. During the install, it stages SQL express, as well as starts to configure the roles for the servers. Once it hits the point to install the rolls, it just fails with "The Wizard was interrupted before Directory Sync Pro and Migrator Pro could be completely installed" -
Cause
This is due to a install bug reported previously reported in CSR 29099 -
Resolution
Workaround:Please extract the Zip file on you’re the local PC. Example (Binary Tree Directory Sync Pro for Active Directory 20.10.1.zip)Open CMD prompt as AdminNavigate to Binary Tree Directory Sync Pro for Active Directory 20.10.1. folder or where ever you unzipped the files to.Now execute the following command"Binary Tree Directory Sync Pro for Active Directory 20.10.1 Installer.exe" /silent /stage_only ISRootStagePath="C:\Temp\DSP"Check the Task Manager to confirm the task has completed.Now you should navigate to the C:\TEMP\DSP folder and click on each folder until you see the DirSync32BitSetup executable. Hint there will probably be 4 files there. When you find DirSync32BitSetup.exe run it. -
