Question
What is the difference between "Skipping: Document Note ID was already processed" VS "Skipping: Duplicate"
Answer
These 2 messages mean basically the same thing. The message was encountered previously, either earlier in the migration or from a previous migration.
"Document Note ID was already processed" means the document was previously encountered in the migration, but Notes Migrator was not able to open the document. The document gets recorded to the migration history, and is skipped in all subsequent migrations.
Skipping: Duplicate. Document cannot be opened. Folder: Inbox NoteID: 123456 Subject:
The message subject is not included in the log because the message could not be opened to retrieve the data.
"Skipping: Duplicate" means the document was previously encountered in the migration, and was successfully migrated. The document is skipped to prevent duplication.
