Migration job has a status of "other" and has no log or stop timestamp -
Description
A migration job has been run and appears to be complete however when looking at the job properties there is no stop time relating to when the job completed and there is no log file summary or details. -
Cause
The job status of "other" is caused if the RDP session to the server is interrupted but the job was not terminated. The job is still running. -
Resolution
If accessing a server via RDP and migration jobs are running then the server RDP session should remain active throughout. If the server session is disconnected then the console will remain running however if the session is logged off then it will close down.
If a job is in the state of "other" then this means that the job is still running and has not either completed successfully or be terminated properly.
