Can Notes Migrator for SharePoint designer client be installed on a 64 bit Operating System SharePoint server without installing Lotus Notes client?
The migration from Notes to SharePoint needs to be done using the intermediate file and using the designer client installed on the Lotus Notes server and the WFE of the SharePoint 64 bit server.
The NMSP designer client cannot be installed on a 64 bit SharePoint WFE without installing Lotus Notes client.
WORKAROUND:
Install Lotus Notes client on the SharePoint WFE and use the NMSP web services to migrate content to SharePoint and the NMSP designer client.
STATUS:
Enhancement request ST73130 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Notes Migrator for SharePoint.
