When attempting to analyse links using the NMSP console the following error occurs:
Cause
If you are migrating to O365 then this error can be caused because the collation of the Link Tracking Database does not match that of the SharePoint content database the content was migrated too.
Resolution
To resolve this error please open SQL Management Studio on your SQL Instance and do the following:
Locate the relevant Link Tracking Database
Right-click on the database object | Properties
Click Options
Modify the Collation setting at the top of the screen to match SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS
