What is the best option to choose to start a migration to ensure that the migration processes will be dispatched on all the MNE available servers?. -
Resolution
1.- "Schedule a task to run: Now on this computer":Here MNE will run now, the task is not being scheduled to run in the future. All the databases within the collection will be migrated through the MNE box where this task runs.
2.- "Schedule the task to run: One or more times, as indicated below -> With On any computer enabled":Here the task is scheduled to run in the future (the migration will start automatically) and on any MNE box enabled. It will be on a first come first serve basis. In other words, the first MNE box to claim the task gets to run it. All the databases within the collection will be migrated through the MNE box that takes the task. This option will keep a balance throughout all the MNE boxes, obviously if one collection has twice as many users than another, the server that handles the larger collection will do more work.
