Microsoft debugging tools (ADPlus) can be used to collect a full dump file when MNE crashes.
See below steps to run ADPlus:
1.- Install application attached (32 bits version).
2.- After the install, in the directory where you installed the tool, there should be a program named “adplus.exe”.
3.- Open a command prompt with an administrator account (or have the prompt “Run as administrator”) and navigate to the directory where this file (ADPlus 32 bits) is installed.
4.- Start the application you are trying to debug.
5.- Create a file called Conf.txt with the following contents and save it somewhere:
<ADPlus Version='2'>
<Exceptions>
<Exception Code="epr">
<Actions1>Void</Actions1>
<Actions2>Void</Actions2>
</Exception>
</Exceptions>
</ADPlus>
6.- Run the script with the following syntax:
ADPlus –crash -FullOnFirst –pmn MigAppWorker.exe –o c:\dumps -c e:\FolderName\conf.txt
Note: Don’t’ copy and paste the command from email. Type it in. Outlook may replace the ‘-‘ character with a different character that looks like a dash but is wider and make the run to fail. Please also be aware that the path would need to be updated to match the actual location of the config file.
7.- Wait for the crash to occur.
8.- A directory will be created in the c:\dumps directory. Zip this folder up naming the zip file as your case number which is in the subject of this email and send it to us.
