Configure the MSA to skip the two Blackberry Message Classes.
Option 1.
Edit the config.ini for the Mail Source Agent, and append the MessageToSkipTypes parameter. The default is:
MessagesToSkipTypes=IPC.Microsoft.ICS.EventBinding, IPC.Microsoft.EventBinding
To exclude the message the Blackberry message class, modify the parameter as follows:
MessagesToSkipTypes=IPC.Microsoft.ICS.EventBinding, IPC.Microsoft.EventBinding, RIM.BlackBerry.Handheld.Config, RIM.BlackBerry.Handheld.Stats
Note: Modifying the config.ini for the agent in question will apply only to that agent, and the update will be overwritten and returned to the default setting the next time the config.ini is written back to the server. To make this change permanent, follow the steps outlined in option 2.
Option 2.
On the Exchange Data tab in QMM, click on Tools | Options | Additional Paramaters for agents.
Edit MessagesToSkipTypes and append RIM.BlackBerry.Handheld.Config, RIM.BlackBerry.Handheld.Stats to the end of the value string. If MessagesToSkipTypes is not listed, add the parameter and enter the full string IPC.Microsoft.ICS.EventBinding, IPC.Microsoft.EventBinding, RIM.BlackBerry.Handheld.Config, RIM.BlackBerry.Handheld.Stats, RIM.BlackBerry.CalSync, RIM.Blackberry.SyncState and in Apply to select the Mail Source Agent and click ok.
