Quest Migration Manager for AD (QMMAD) and Quest Migration Manager for Exchange (QMMEX) have separate license entries in the registry. It is possible to have two separate license files.
After Applying the QMM EX license, QMM AD shows as being licensed for 0 Migrations.
The QMM EX License File contains an entry for QMM AD. Since each product can only accept a single license entry, The 0 migration Licenses from the QMM EX license file take precedence.
Though they are frequently used together, QMM AD and QMM EX can be licensed and used seperately. To Migrate Exchange users, the Directory Synchronization Agent from QMM AD is required, however none of the other functionality of the QMM AD is.
-Contact your Quest account manager to request a Combined license file.
-Alternatively, you can edit the QMM EX License file to remove the entire entry for QMM AD. Ensure you Make a backup copy of the file before you make changes.
You must then re-apply the QMM EX and QMM AD License Files.
