Description
The Mail Target Agent (MTA) may fail to process PRV files, and reports the following:
Error -2147221231 The information store could not be opened. - MAPI_E_LOGON_FAILED (MAPI 1.0)
However, if you examine where it is attempting to log on to:
7/16/2008 10:15:24 AM CSession::Logon TraceMsg 4800 Logging on to the mailbox '/o=ORG/ou=First Administrative Group/cn=Recipients/cn=jsmith' (Server: 'servername', user: 'domain\serviceaccount').
The LEDN is incorrect - it may even be the wrong Exchange Organization or an old/obsolete Exchange organisation.
How is this possible, and where is it getting this data?
