Room mailboxes configured to automatically accept meeting requests do not retain this setting when migrated to the target Exchange 2013 organization or Office 365 (4246721)

There is an entry under Known Issues (TF208203) in the Release Notes document stating that room mailboxes configured to automatically accept meeting requests do not retain this setting when migrated to the target Exchange 2013 organization or Office 365. Is there a way to avoid configuring room mailboxes from scratch manually in the target environment?

This is the design behavior of Migration Agent for Exchange (MAgE) implied by specifics of Microsoft technologies it relies upon. However, the Known Issues format supposes only a brief description of a problem, so the above mentioned entry in the Release Notes document does not explain it in all the details. This makes its text misleading and sometimes produces irrelevant concerns.

* - There is no special entity as ‘resource mailbox’ in Exchange Server 2003. A mailbox can be used as that of a ‘resource’ one through the use of Direct Booking. MAgE does not copy any settings related to Direct Booking.
