When getting autodiscover settings for users from source Exchange 2010 Server, MAgE shows error 405.
Mage.log contains the error similar to the following:
Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Data.ServiceRequestException: The request failed. The remote server returned an error: (405) Method Not Allowed. | at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Autodiscover.AutodiscoverRequest.InternalExecute() at Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.Autodiscover.GetUserSettingsRequest.Execute()
Issue can be resolved by removing and re-adding Autodiscover virtual directory or, in case of Exchange 2010 only, the following procedure:
1. On Exchange 2010 CAS Server start IIS Management console
2. Select Autodiscover virtual directory and double click Handler Mappings.
3. See if svc-Integrated *.svc entry is missing. If it is, then
click Add Managed Handler and enter:
Requested Path:
*.svc
Type:
System.ServiceModel.Activation.HttpHandler, System.ServiceModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089
Name:
svc-Integrated
Leave the request Restrictions default.
4. Click OK and run IISreset
Another possible solution would be finding out which Autodiscover URL is used by EWSEditor (Tools | Discovery | Autodiscover Viewer -> 'Use Autodiscover to get AutoDiscover service URL' option) and replacing the Autodiscover URL currently used by MMEX in MMEX-OrganizationProperties with the one detected with EWSEditor.
