In RUM 8.8, when processing or migrating computers, a new task needs to be created every time. It is not desirable to create a new task every time and to make the selection and repeat the steps, especially if some of the steps need to be customized, eg. the reboot message.
What can be done?
In QMM 8.8 the design of RUM was changed and now tasks should be utilized properly, there is no need to create a new task every time.
Use the already existing tasks as templates.
In QMM 8.8 in RUM you can create and configure a Task and then not run this task, but chose "decide later", this will save the task.
Then in right side window you can click on the Tasks tab in the upper task bar and you will be able to view all existing tasks, then can always use the old task as a template, there is no need to create a new task every time. Any of the old existing tasks can be reused as often as needed.
Hint: You can put something in the Description field, this will help you to differentiate the old tasks and to find the needed one quickly. And then in the right side window you can go and find the Description tab (column) and move the header to the left, so you will immediately see the task and the description. Basically you can use the Description field to provide names for your templates.
